Targa Otorohonga 2024

We are so appreciative of Peter Martin and his team at Targa NZ especially Lisa Ford for supporting our beautiful work and again choosing Race 4 Life Trust to be the charity for their events in 2024.

The 2024 Targa was a four day event with 540kms of special stages. Based around Otorohonga, Kawhia Harbour, and the King Country, the rally began on the 25th October at the Otorohonga Rugby club and finished 4 days later outside the Rotorua Novotel.

Race4Life ran daily raffles supplied by Spoil Me treated drivers and their codrivers to water from David Melrose Design and lollies from Wilson Consumer Products each morning, sold BBQ delights at lunchtime, convinced drivers to buy car stickers and ran an auction on prize giving night. These opportunities enabled us to raise just under $22K.

We are so grateful for the chance not only to raise revenue for our Trust but to also further inform the Targa community about our Track Days. Several of the drivers put their names forward to participate in next year’s Race4Life events.

There will be three Track Days again next year:
Teretonga: March 11th
Hampton Downs: Sept 30th
Manfeild: Nov 26th
