Due to personal circumstances, I’ve had to make a tough choice.
The Race4Life Trust has granted me an incredible view into the essence of humanity, revealing the kindness and generosity of individuals and communities across New Zealand. I feel immensely grateful to have experienced such a profound display of love.
The board of the Race4Life Trust has decided that the 2026 Race4Life event at Hampton Downs will be our final one, as we will be closing the Trust at the end of the year. My family commitments must come first, and it feels like the right moment to make this transition.
Our last Track Day will mark the 18th anniversary of this extraordinary event, taking place at Hampton Downs Raceway on Tuesday, September 29th.
In the coming months, we’ll keep you updated on our Grand Finale.
There are so many people we need to thank, so much to celebrate, and one last chance to provide Palliative Care Patients with a day of exhilarating rides, where illness takes a backseat to fun and adventure.
