A Day to Inspire 2018 with Ian Winson

On Monday 1st October 80 special guests were treated to a totally inspirational presentation.

Ian Winson is a simply amazing human being. He was the engineer who was a victim of the explosion in the Watercare tunnel in 2011. Ian is so incredibly courageous, as is his wife, Katherine. His story of survival is just stunning.

For almost an hour we were captivated by his story , the pain , the strength of character, the positive outlook and determined attitude. In his ordinariness Ian portrayed an extraordinary degree of courage and perseverance.

The love for is family shining through. What an absolute honour for all present. Every one of our guests left the Orakei Bay venue inspired
