Gearing up for Hampton Downs
With one month to go before the annual Race4life event at the Hampton Downs Race track anticipation is building and the final touches are being put in place. This is event ‘number9’ and our sponsors have been extraordinary in the irresponse to our cause. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your continued support and loyalty. It is through your commitment to this event that we are able to provide magical moments for Palliative Care Patients, both on this stunning day and through out the year. We are expecting over 70 patients from hospices as far North as Wellsford through to Hamilton in the South to attend our event. They will each be accompanied by a care giver and will be assigned a nurse. In addition we are expecting between 150-200 sponsors, volunteers and service providers to join us on the day. Hampton Downs is operating under a brand new management and the folk there have shown great interest and support for our event. They have accommodated all our needs and are generously donating to the cause as well. We look forward to everyone joining us on this very special day.
