Toni Marsh has had a love affair with the Topp Twins for a good part of her life.
Toni has always enjoyed the humour and sense of the ridiculous that Lynda and Jules present.
Toni, who suffers from cancer has totally embraced the sense of now and with her husband Mike has made a list of things she wants to do before she dies. Toni approached the Trust hoping that we might be able to get in touch with the Topp Twins.
The Marshes were travelling to the South Island so Lynda, once she heard their story, kindly invited them to visit and to have a cuppa in her local Canterbury cafe.
Lynda spent a good hour with the Marshes, sharing stories and apologising, at the same time, that Jules was not available to be with them. However as a further kind gesture, Lynda gave Toni and Mike tickets to the Topp Twin Concert to be held in their home town of Pukekohe in October, plus a promise to catch up after the show.
How good is that.
