Typical of someone who has given so much in life, 58 year old Gael Paki did not think that she was worthy of a wish.Once convinced to contact Race4Life by Franklin Hospice staff, this gorgeous lady decided that a fun time with a girlfriend would do the trick! Gael has terminal hepatic cholangiocarcinoma, yet she still continues to work and care for her 5 year old granddaughter.
At the top of her wish list was a trip to Whitianga and to incorporate a visit to The Lost Spring. Local businesses came on board to give Gael and her friend an incredible couple of days.
“We were treated like Royalty” said Gael on return from a few days of pampering in this beautiful part of our country.
