Dawn Terepai has always been a huge supporter of the New Zealand Vodafone Warriors. She has never missed a game, however, in recent years, her ability to attend games has been compromised by her diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. This does not stop her from sitting in front of the TV wearing her Warriors Jersey, each time the team takes the field.
Dawn’s wish was to meet a few key players in the team and to spend some time with them. Jim Doyle from the Warriors responded immediately to this special request and organised, Shane Johnson, Manu Vatavei and to make a trip to the Hillcrest Home in South Auckland to meet Dawn and her family. Dawn was so overwhelmed to have met and spent the afternoon with her long time heroes. Very cool!!
